Installation

Order

Once you buy SceneCity, you will receive an email containing the instructions to log into your new account.

This process is automatic, but the automatic emails are sometimes treated as spam, and can either be blocked by your email provider (gmail doesn’t), or be placed in the spam folder. If you don’t receive your credentials instantly, simply wait for a few hours at most, I will resend them manually as soon as I can.

Download anytime from your account

When you have your credentials, you can log into your account anytime. From there, you can download the three addons that make the SceneCity package, which are SceneCity itself, SceneSkies, and SceneTerrain. On your account page, you can also change your registered email address, and your password.

If you ever forget your password, you can use the “Forgot password” feature, from the login page. An email will be sent to your email address. If for some reason that doesn’t work, simply contact me, and we’ll fix the issue.

Install and enable the addons in Blender

Each addon can be downloaded individually, and you install them independently of each other.

Each one comes as a zip file, do not extract this zip file, you just install it in Blender as it is:

  1. open Blender’s User Preferences, from the File menu or using Ctrl+Alt+U
  2. in the “Add-ons” tab, click the “Install from File...” button at the bottom, and select the zip you downloaded
  3. check the box on the right of the addon to enable it
  4. optional: click “Save User Settings” at the bottom to make sure it’s always enabled each time you restart Blender
